ZAGREB, 4 December 2019 – Dinamo Zagreb will face English champions Manchester City next Wednesday on 11 December in Zagreb in the final UEFA Champions League group stage clash with kick-off at the early time of 6:55 pm.
Manchester City (11 points) have qualified for the Round of 16, whilst all three remaining teams in the group, Shakhtar Donetsk (6 points), Dinamo Zagreb (5 points) and Atalanta (4 points), can all still finish second in the group and advance to the next stage of the competition.
The equation is simply for Dinamo to advance. They need to beat Manchester City at Maksimir stadium. With the third place team going the UEFA Europa League, a draw would guarantee that for the Croatian champions. If Dinamo lose against Manchester City and Shakhtar Donetsk manage to beat or draw with Atalanta at home, then Dinamo will secure a UEFA Europa League spot.
