ZAGREB, 19 July 2019 – Revenue generated in tourism and hospitality in Croatia this year has increased by a billion kuna, according to data from the nation’s tax office.
Also, during the period from 1 January – 10 July 2019, a total of 15,72 million fiscal receipts were issued in the accommodation segment, which is around 1% more than in the same period last year, daily Jutarnji list reported.
The total number of fiscal receipts issued had increased by 12% from 1 January – 10 July last year and reached a value of 3.97 billion kuna, which is around 428 million kuna more than during the same period last year.
There was a significant jump in the number of fiscal receipts issued in the hospitality industry segment so far in 2019. According to the data, almost 184 million fiscal receipts were issued, or 3% percent more than in the same period last year, while the total value of the fiscal receipts increased by 9% percent, reaching a value of just over 7.35 billion kuna.
Everything combined, from 1 January – 10 July 2019, a total of 199.7 million fiscal receipts were issued (+3%) with a total value of more than 11.32 billion kuna (+10%).
