This coming Friday, March 29th, Croatian American Professionals – Cleveland Chapter and American Croatian Business Association will host Croatian Ambassador Mr Pjer simunovic for an evening geared towards economic development between North East Ohio and Croatia. The event will take place at the American Croatian Lodge in Eastlake. Amongst attendees we will have Tomislav Mihaljevic, Cleveland Clinic CEO, Jerry Cirino, Lake County Comissioner, Ted Carter, Chief Economic Development & Business Officer, Cuyahoga County

The goal of this event is to:
- Establish economic development pathway between Croatia and NEO
- Empower Croatian Americans to network and empower each other across US and globally
- Promote Croatian Culture and Peoples of Croatian descent
The goal of this event is to start the conversation around economic development, trade fostering and knowledge exchange. Mr Simunovic will be meeting with Major Jackson, City Manager and Executive Director of Economic development of Mentor to talk about potential trade programs on Friday as well. Commissioner Cirino and Mayor Jackson will present proclamation of contribution of the Croatian people to Lake County and City of Cleveland and Mayor of Eastlake will present the key to the city.
This Friday evening, the Croatian heritage museum will have the museum open later than usual for so the visitors can take a look at their latest “Croatian Music Exhibit”.
On Sunday, March 31st Mr Simunovic will visit St Paul Croatian Church for the mass at 10am and to meet and great the community after the mass.
